I know, I know, it's two days after Christmas, and I'm just now posting to the blog...at any rate, I hope that all of you faithful readers will forgive my tardiness. We had a very pleasant Christmas day with Robyn & Tim here all day. Tim brought his dogs over, and they were quite entertaining. Chuck & Mabey love to be petted, so much of their time was spent moving from person to person looking for affection.
I had bought new beds for all three dogs, and Chuck & Mabey sprawled all over both their beds and Ginger's.
We even managed to get Ginger to pose with a bow on her head (aka she didn't notice it was there; otherwise, she would have been scratching it off!).
Ben modeled two of his gifts-- a new leather jacket and a Santa apron that Curt & SuEllen gave him.
We broke open Tim's new card game, "Grass," and learned how to play it (sort of like Mille Bornes with a few added twists).
After eating our turkey dinner, we went to the movie theater and saw "Marley and Me." It was pretty crowded, so we ended up sitting on about the third row and looking UP at the screen. But that's okay; it was a good movie and a nice way to spend some time together. When we got home, we ate more turkey and played more Grass. It was a nice way to spend Christmas day with our kids and grand-dogs!
