I know it's been a LONG time since I posted! I came home from my trip to Lexington in June to discover that my computer had decided to die while I was gone. Tim tried and tried to revive it, but he finally declared that it was time for a new one. He helped Ben put together the specs, and we ordered it from Dell. It arrived two days ago, and I'm just now getting a chance to put it to use.
I really enjoyed the Lexington trip. It worked out that Erin & Brad and their kids came up for a couple of days, so I got to see lots of family members. One day I invited Bethany to come and play with Elizabeth and Brooke, and the three girls enjoyed splashing around in the backyard pool and sprinkler.
Bridger is growing like the proverbial weed, and he is quite the handsome little man. He's crawling everywhere and wiggles uncontrollably during diaper changes!
Bethany's little brother, Luke, is 3 1/2 now and a very active little guy. He tripped and fell on the driveway right after I got there, landing on his face, so he had some boo-boos, but he took it all in stride.
I even went strawberry picking with Katie, David, Elizabeth, and Brooke. The girls picked a few berries, but they mostly enjoyed riding in the wagon and playing on the playground. Now that they have both passed their third birthdays, they are blossoming into such fun little personalities!
All in all, it was a nice way to start the summer. Ben stayed at home and started his new job with Frost Bank that week, and Ginger missed me, but I'm pretty sure she's gotten over it!
