Merry Christmas!

Yes, it's Christmas day...and I have not posted for quite a while. Today's been really nice. Robyn & Tim came over before noon, and we enjoyed exchanging gifts, playing games, and eating a couple of meals together. All in all, it's a far cry from the earlier years of kids not getting along with each other---they have finally grown up! Robyn's favorite gift this year is the "Guitar Hero" game for her Wii. She brought over the Wii and has made all of us play some today, but she reigns supreme as the rock star in the family!

Ben was the first one to take the challenge of playing (notice his new bright blue pullover, courtesy of Robyn).

Ginger didn't know what to think of that rock music in our house!

Even Tim was a good sport and gave it a shot.

Finally, I had to play, having run out of excuses and other chores to do.

We also played a couple of games of spades and one session of Monopoly (GIRLS RULE!!!!) before Tim decided he needed to go home and do some laundry before he goes back to work tomorrow. Ben's taking the week off, so we're hoping to get a few things done around here, like maybe cleaning out the garage, something I've been wanting to do since we sold the old Dart back in June. And we're planning to go to the Texas Bowl on Friday night, since Curt Mooney got tickets for us (although Tim will decline that one, not being much of a football fan). Then Robyn and I will fly to Lexington on Sunday to visit with everybody up there for a few days.

I'll post again later with pictures of our recent ski trip!
