Elizabeth was enjoying playing with her new kitty, Mittens.
Luke likes climbing in the tree in his front yard.
Bethany was reading a good book and couldn't put it down.
Here are the four Morgan children---Josh (16), Elijah (11), Bethany (8), and Luke (4).
On the way home from Lexington, we stopped for the night in Searcy for a visit with Amy, Neal, Jack, and William. They were terrific hosts, fixing us dinner and even agreeing to play spades with us! William is an energetic, happy baby, and we loved getting a chance to see him in action.
A few days after we got home from our trip, Robyn came home for a long Thanksgiving visit. She and Tim don't like it when I point the camera their way, but I did take a couple of shots that aren't too embarrassing to publish (although they might disagree with that assessment).
The most astonishing news recently is that it snowed in Houston on December 4th, the earliest snowfall in recorded history for Houston. Snow in Houston creates a circus-like atmosphere all over town, and it was especially surprising to have snow this year since we had snow last year on December 10. Normally, we only see snowflakes about once a decade. Our area of town didn't get very much, but I did go out with the camera and take a few shots.
Ginger looks all speckled with big, wet snowflakes all over her. She loves the snow; it's like her own personal all-you-can-eat buffet!
I imagine that the pineapple plantations in Hawaii never have plants that look like these!
This is the poinsettia plant that I was given last year; I dutifully brought it in for 15 hours of darkness every night since Oct. 1 and was rewarded with about 10 small leaves actually turning bright red. Since this picture was taken, it has shriveled up in response to my leaving it out in the cold. Oh, well, it was pretty while it lasted!
Well, that's it for now. I'll be having a PRP procedure done on my right elbow next week, so don't expect any more updates any time soon!
