Happy Birthday to Ben!

Today is Ben's 53rd birthday...he's caught up with me yet again! To celebrate, we went to church this evening, and I fixed him a cheese omelet and turkey bacon when we got home. Oh, and I made banana chocolate chip muffins today, so he had one as his "birthday cake."

Tomorrow morning, Ben & Tim are flying to Nashville to help Robyn move back home. She's been furiously selling all of her furniture over the last week, so I'm guessing that her apartment is pretty bare by now. They will get a rental truck and load up, then start driving back tomorrow night. Once they arrive Saturday evening, we'll unload the truck into a storage unit at Uncle Bob's Storage and begin the process of finding a place for Robyn to settle in Houston.

I had a moment of panic last night...I thought for several hours that I had accidentally thrown away my passport. It would have been disaster, considering that Robyn & I are going to Guatemala in two weeks. I'd had it out on the kitchen table for a couple of weeks and had remembered thinking, "Hmm, it would probably be a good idea to put this in a more secure place than out on the table," but I didn't remember having actually PUT it anywhere. When I started looking for it, I was going through all the little piles of paper in the kitchen, then in the computer room, then all the newspapers stacked for recycling in the sunroom, etc., etc., and I had rummaged through my purse at least six times. I was starting to fill out paperwork for a new one to replace the "lost" one, when I thought I'd just check my purse one more time. That was the trick---at 11:30 last night, I finally reached deep enough down to realize that the passport had flattened itself against the bottom of my purse. What a relief!

Happy Easter to all, and may your chocolate bunnies all have extra ears!

Very glad you found it! I've had several of those experiences myself - no fun. The ears on my chocolate Easter bunny got eaten before I got to it... :(
