Stuff Found When Cleaning

There's no telling what you might find if you get in a cleanup mindset like the one we've been in recently. Here are a couple of items that have been unearthed in the latest round:
This is the tent that we bought when Tim was a Boy Scout, which lasted for about 5 months in 1992. The tent was used just a handful of times and relegated to the garage, where its nylon stuff bag rotted away, but the tent itself has survived quite nicely, though it smells pretty musty. Ginger was curious when she first saw it, then she ignored it. We did not try to get her to go inside of it, though.

And here's an old picture that surfaced when Ben was garage-cleaning, circa 1972:

That's Snow Maiden, an appaloosa who used to inhabit the Crestridge stable every summer. I showed her at the Blowing Rock horse show a couple of times. Funny horse---at camp she was always slow and smooth, a bit lazy, but as soon as we got to the show grounds she perked up and picked up her feet, and her whole attitude changed. It was like riding a completely different horse. I remember the first time I saw her in "show mode" that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to handle her, but she actually did all the work and made me look good! Oh, by the way, the long-haired skinny girl in the saddle is me.

Pictures like that make me realize how strong the Bridger family resemblance actually is. Wow!!!
