Mission Accomplished

I've returned from Nashville (again!) and can now report that Robyn's Senior Recital was a resounding success! She played beautifully and was very composed and confident on stage. It makes a mama proud to see and hear the results of her hard work (and years of lessons and reeds and finding just the right instrument....). Graduation is getting closer every day.

It's been a busy few days. The recital was Friday, and I flew home on Saturday. After arriving at the house about 12:30, I had time to unpack my suitcase and eat lunch before practicing my dulcimer and teaching two lessons. Then I headed out to play dulcimer for a party across town. Sunday I played with the choir anthem and an offertory, so I had to be at church before 8 a.m. I can't wait to catch up on my beauty sleep!
